
Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment Study of the Program of Exploration and Exploitation of Hydrocarbons into the sea areas South and Southwest of Crete (SEA 21).
The Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment examines the Program including three (3) Stages of hydrocarbon exploration and production, according to the legislation in force as well as the international standard practice, that is the Exploration, Development and Production and Decommission of infrastructure as well as the site restoration. The study area is located within the marine areas southwest and west Crete, of total area approximately 40.000 km2 (20.058 and 19.868 for the Western block and South West block respectively).
