Environmental Study for the renewal of DAET JMD no 84821/95/08.07.1996 of Kavala Airport

The purpose of this study is the renewal Environmental Study of Kavala airport. The study was drafted based on article 5 paragraph 5 and article 11 of L.4014/2011 (OGG 209/Α’/21-9-2011), that refers to the renewal of the Decision Approval of Environmental Terms (DAET) of an existing project or activity. During the study an Appropriate Ecological Assessment was also drafted because the project was next to the National Park of East Maceodonia and Thraki.

Environmental study for the amendment of DAET no 167663/27-05-2010 of the new Power Unit Megalopoli V, within the SEPS of Megalopoli.

In this study it was proposed and approved, the compliance of the final design of the work in comparison with the authorized design. The changes are given below:

•          Differentiation of the general layout of the final design of the work in comparison with the authorized design

•          Increase of the number of emergency Gensets

•          Increase in the number and the volume of certain tanks

•          Integration of the two machinery sites

•          Anticipating additional buildings

•          Changes in the chemicals used during the various treatments

•          Replacement of one conveyor, from a system of five individual conveyors

•          Small scale variations in wells and pumping stations

 

•          Decrease of the overall water use and the overall output of industrial wastewaters by 20%

Environmental Study for the Amendment of DAET of HEPP of Ilarion in Aliakmon River

Environmental Study for the Amendment of DAET of HEPP of Ilarion in Aliakmon River (EIAS 352): Ammendments studied were the higher level of the reservoir as well as works to protect the hermitage of Osios Nikanoras. Moreover, the construction of a pedestrian bridge and of an access path to the monastery as well as downstream configuration works along with recreation areas, including gabion constructions on the slopes of the downstream canal, were studied. Furthermore the disposal sites of the tunnel at the left abutment as well as the limestone quarry, the worksite offices, pumping stations hydraulic installations at the entrance on the Paliourias-Panagias bridge and finally restoration of borrow pits were included in the study.

Environmental Study for the Amendment of DAET of Unit V of Ptolemaida SEPS- Permitting of construction facilities

This amendment study concerns the authorization for installations inside the area of the Steam Electric Power Station (SEPS) of  Ptolemaida that is under construction, which are necessary for the operation of the construction site.

Amendment of DAETs JMD no 102696/30.5.2006 and no 100163/30.5.2006 for construction and operation of the project Patra –Pyrgos- Tsakona Road Axis

In this modification study there is no suggestion for a horizontal or vertical alignment to alternate the artery or the parallel and vertical road network, of the already licensed project  as it has been amended. The basic differences in relation to the licensed work are related with:

  • Small scale arrangements in streams crossing  the licensed project
  • Changes of the quantities of the excavation materials in relation with those that had been mentioned in older studies.

Environmental Study for the renewal and amendment of DAET no122245/2-7-2004 “a. Improvement works of CNRA between the I/C Airport of Heraklion and I/C Karterou b. Improvement works of Kartero Interchange and c. restoration of the local parallel road sections”

 

The objective if this study is, the assessment of the environmental impacts from the modification of the current work of widening the National road E-90 at the segment between the I/C Airport of Heraklion and I/C Karterou, the improvement of the current interchange of Kratero and the restoration of the local parallel road.
